Common Elements – Specific Commons

Back to homepage

Condominium grounds (limited/common elements) and buildings are owned in common by all. You each have your percentage share in the ownership. The space that you purchased within a building, you own. The General Common Elements include all of the grounds, community facilities and the buildings from your painted wall or ceiling outward. The Limited Common areas include your basement, garage, deck, driveway, pertinent landscaping, your patio, your front porch and the ground between your sidewalk and your garage. With the designation of Limited Common, those areas are exclusively yours—for your use and enjoyment (within the guidelines as written in this handbook).

The above words are generic. For the legal description of both General and Limited Common areas, refer to Article IV of the Master Deed.
